Madeline Wilson

Hello, my name is Madeline Wilson and I am a Level 4 Stylist at Blondies Salon & Spa in Columbus.

As well as being a stylist, I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017 - but my obsession with beauty started much earlier than that. I was totally the little girl sneaking into her mom’s makeup and grabbing the kitchen scissors to give Barbie a makeover whether she liked it or not!

Growing up, I channeled my talents, creativity, and eye for detail into art classes and found a new love in drawing and painting. I believe this more in-depth knowledge of color theory and composition gives me a special edge as a colorist. In fact, some of my favorite services to provide at the salon aren’t that different from my work on canvases! The hair I live for includes vivid coloring that I can pair with bold color-blocking placements or low-maintenance dimensional looks. I strive to make fun, vibrant color more accessible and easier to maintain.

When I’m not at the salon you can catch me snuggled up on the couch with my dog, Seamus, watching Harry Potter or devouring my latest read waiting for my tea to cool down. I also enjoy traveling to both new and familiar places so I usually have at least 1 trip planned at any given time. I started my journey at Blondie’s February 2020, and I wouldn’t trade my experience for the world. Being able to take care of my community and make them shine a little brighter is a pleasure. So if you think your hair needs an artistic touch, you know where to find me!
