All Over Color

Perhaps the most dramatic transformation is to have an all-over color. Using permanent or semi permanent hair color, we can apply your color of choice whether that is blonde, brunette, red or a fashion color!  A single process color does not lighten your hair, it deposits one color from roots to tips. All over color also adds a nice healthy shine to your hair.

Root Touch Ups

Your permanent hair color will last, but hair grows! Keep your hair color looking fresh with a root touch up service at regular intervals. Depending on how fast your hair grows, we'll need to apply hair color to just your root area every 4-6 weeks. Once roots are about 1/4 inch long, they're going to be noticeable, especially along your natural parting.

Demi Permanent Color

Not all hair color is the same. Some are permanent by design, others are more short term for different purposes. This type of color is great for blending. It can blend up to 50% of gray. It adds shine and darkness to hair.

Color + Shine

A semi permanent gloss color can be used to add shine and seal the cuticle of the hair. We can also customize glossing by adding toner to enhance the tone in the color. It lasts for about 4 weeks.

Color Melts, Root Melt, Root Tap Hair Color

Single process color is also used to create that lived-in blonde or rooted look.  After a highlight service, either foil highlights or balayage, some clients like to get a root melt. A single process color is applied just at the roots to darken the hair and make the highlights less obvious. Applying a darker color at the roots - even if just subtly darker - accentuates the lighter hair and helps to frame the face. Some clients like to go a little darker the cooler months. A color melt or root tap uses single process color to extend your natural base color just a little bit to warm you up while keeping your brightness.

Toner

A toner doesn't add color, it adjusts color. Think of it as a color corrector for your hair. Everyone's hair will lighten differently, revealing the hair's natural undertone. Some hair will lighten and have more golden or yellow undertones. To avoid having your lightened hair be too warm, we can apply a toner to reduce brassy tones. The results are long lasting, but not permanent. Some women like to book just a toner in between their color appointments.

Gray Hair Blending

There are a few ways to approach grey hair. You can do nothing...embrace your greys and opt for a gloss treatment for shine or a toner to reduce any brassy tones. If you're not ready to go grey, we can either conceal your greys completely or blend them in.  If you're looking for coverage, then an all over color is the way to go. A single process color will give you solid color from root to tips but you'll need to get the new growth touched up every 4-6 weeks. Or, consider getting highlights to blend in your grey. You would never know this client had some grey hair. We did a full highlight followed by a toner. She can go as long as 8-12 weeks in between appointments.

Vivid Colors

Vivids are also known as fantasy colors, fun color, rainbow colors, unicorn hair or mermaid hair. These colors can range from deep jewel tones, vibrant neons and soft pastel tones. Vivid colors can be applied as an all-over color, as highlights, or even as a hidden color - peeking out from under your natural hair when you put it up in a ponytail! Vivid color is known for its vibrant hues but these colors require special care to maintain that brightness. Vivid hair color makes a statement but they can fade quickly without proper care, so some lifestyle changes may be needed if you want to rock a vivid look. If you are committed to taking the extra care needed, then it’s time to book your appointment with our vivid hair color specialist. Is a vivid hair color right for you?

Pastel Hair Color

For a softer look, consider a pastel color. Pretty pinks and lilac hair colors look great and will have you feeling years younger! Bear in mind that we will probably need to lighten your hair before applying your preferred pastel hair shade - but we can explain everything to you during your complimentary no-obligation hair color consultation.
