Get Hair Botox at Blondie's Salon in Columbus

Renew your hair with HairB...No needles, no actual botox! Hair Botox has become the latest buzzword for a type of salon treatment that repairs damaged hair, reduces frizz, and leaves hair looking quite youthful. But since "hair botox" is often misunderstood or confused for keratin smoothing treatments, let us tell you more!

hairbotox by RG cosmetics
HairB... is a revolutionary in-salon treatment, and a client favorite at Blondie's, that restores the hair's lost protein. From the root to the ends, each strand is left smooth, shiny, and soft. Developed in Brazil by RG Cosmetics, this reconstructive treatment renews the hair, turning dull, lifeless locks into healthy, frizz-free hair.

So, what's the big deal?

Sure there are other salon treatments designed to fight frizz, and even more treatments, like bond builders, designed to reverse damage and fortify the hair. HairB... does both, and unlike other frizz-fighting and smoothing treatments, it's formaldehyde free. That's a game changer for some sensitive clients, especially pregnant women. And results are customizable for every hair type.

Benefits of hair botox?

HairB... is perfect for people with dull, dry or damaged hair, or those who want to fight frizz.  It's not specifically a smoothing or straightening treatment, although it does give some smoothing benefits.

  • Smooths and softens hair
  • Reduces frizz and makes hair manageable
  • Rebuild broken bonds and thicken hair fibers
  • Leaves shiny and healthy looking
  • Results last 10-12 weeks

How is it applied?

HairB... is a three-step in-salon process. First, the hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo to open up the cuticles. Next, HairB...is applied generously so that the protein can penetrate the open cuticles. Lastly, heat is rinsed out and blown dry so that heat can seal in the ingredients for lasting results.

How does it work?

It's all about the ingredients. Protein is key, which targets damage from the inside out. Coconut water helps to reverse the effects of daily styling while promoting healthy hair growth. Humidity-blocking fatty acids infuse deep in the cuticle for improved texture, shine and manageability.

Hair Botox vs Keratin Treatments

HairB...is different than keratin. A keratin treatment uses formaldehyde (and some other chemicals) to straighten your hair, leaving it soft, shiny, and smooth. Hair B is formaldehyde free and is not specifically a straightening treatment although you will see a smoothing and softening of the hair's natural texture.

Hair Botox vs Brazilian Blowout

Brazilian Blowout and similar types of treatments are for people with coarse or curly hair who want straight, smooth and frizz free hair. HairB...is for people with dry, damaged, frizzy or dull hair who want to make it look healthy, glossy and frizz free.

How often can I get Hair Botox?

We don't recommend using any protein-based treatments more than 3-4 times a year. Too much protein can lead to hair breakage, thinning, and dullness. That's why we suggest a consultation to get started. We'll also talk about the products you're using at home to wash, style and condition your hair. We may suggest a change to your daily routine for the months following your HairB...treatment to avoid over-proteinizing the hair.

How much does HairB...cost?

The cost of the service will depend on how much product and time will be required to treat the length and density of your hair. Please schedule a consultation to properly estimate your investment.
